Steve Whitteberry – Managing Director, Invictus
With more than twenty-five years of financial and business advisory experience, Mr. Whitteberry brings a high level of experience, professionalism, and competency to the mergers and acquisitions industry. He has been active in facilitating and integrating mergers and acquisitions and has completed transactions with both domestic and internationally based companies.
Prior to coming to Invictus, Mr. Whitteberry was involved in the wholesale, distribution, and manufacturing industries. During his 14 year career with Gordon Food Service, Inc., the largest privately held foodservice distributor in North America, he held various financial positions including serving as Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure at GFS, he facilitated the acquisition and integration of six companies, directed the 100-person finance/accounting team, and was responsible for all aspects of the financial operations and reporting.
Prior to his career at GFS, Mr. Whitteberry spent seven years as an auditor and financial consultant with the international public accounting firms of KPMG and BDO Seidman. Mr. Whitteberry is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Financial Executives International, and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Whitteberry serves on the board of two non-profit organizations and has guest-lectured at Grand Valley State University and several industry associations.
Mr. Whitteberry is an avid runner. He and his wife, Diane, reside in Jenison, Michigan. They enjoy traveling, soccer, and other activities with their five children.
Mike McNamara – Vice President, Equifax Workforce Solutions
Mike has responsibility for directing the Vertical Leadership Team, Key Client Directors and Account Management to deliver best-in-class and new to the world Human Resource BPO, Software, Services, and Analytics Solutions.
Prior to joining Equifax Workforce Solutions, Mike has held C-Suite, Executive and Senior Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and General Management roles with Cox Enterprises, WW Grainger, and Federal-Mogul Corporation. Mike has led sales, service and operations organizations of over 1,500 associates and accountable for P&L responsibility in excess of $250M.
Dedicated to giving back, Mike formed The MBAR Group in 2009 with the sole intent of providing pro bono career and business consulting services. Today he coaches a number of high profile media personalities as well as holding advisory board positions guiding a number of multimedia and small business startups.
Mike has a BS degree from Michigan State University, and MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He is a past chapter President of the American Marketing Association. Mike and his wife Elizabeth reside in St Louis MO and Frankfort MI where their philanthropic causes include The Kingdom House – St Louis, BACN in Benzonia, MI., and Samaritan’s Purse, Boone NC.
Peter Arpin – Executive Vice President, Arpin International

Peter assumed his current responsibilities as Executive Vice President of Arpin International Group in 1989, and also runs its Alaskan division. Since joining Arpin, the company expanded from a regional moving company to a world leader with over 250 MM in sales per year. Arpin is one of the industries most decorated global leaders in mobility.
In 2008, he became President of two new Arpin Group companies, Arpin Renewable Energy and Renewable Now. Arpin Renewable Energy is responsible for all internal environmental auditing across all Arpin Group companies. Peter currently leads a central group of people working on low-carbon growth Research and Development initiatives. The group’s mission is to educate, promote, and report on the positive growth that results when moving towards a more sustainable future, both economically and socially. Four years ago they created a new company, eNow, which installs solar and batteries on trucks to substantially cut their emissions and improve their operational performance.
Concurrently, Peter has run a broadcast group, ADD Radio Group and is now the host and Ex-Producer of the group’s lead show, Renewable Now. The show is the global media leader in tracking the new green economy through the prism “the business side of green”. The show is heard or seen weekly through over 1000 outlets.
Peter is a partner in an international trade company, with offices in Beijing and Providence, Rhode Island International Group, and a clean energy company with a focus on developing small to medium size renewable projects, Clean Energy Development. He also helped create Arpin’s full time charity, Arpin Strong.
Peter, as part of the Arpin Group, has won numerous awards including business person of the year in Rhode Island and from Audubon Society. Two years ago he was awarded a doctorate in humanities from Rhode Island College.
Gary Schuler is the Founder and CEO of Gleaning the Fields (GTF). In 1997, Mr. Schuler initiated a number programs for corporations for their returned, overstocked, and damaged goods through 501(c)3 humanitarian organizations. Since the inception of these programs, over $2 Billion in merchandise has been donated with an estimated net tax savings of $100 million. These products were previously destroyed and landfilled and were re-directed to assist those living in extreme poverty.
The unique solutions created to solve the company’s returns fueled a passion for Mr. Schuler to help other corporations and non-profit organizations. For over fifteen years, Mr. Schuler has been an advocate of helping develop sustainable solutions for excess or returned products. These corporations have implemented unique solutions for their returned or overstock inventory resulting in millions in cost savings, landfill waste reduction, and a countless number of people aided in the U.S. and around the world.
